Fordingbridge: Judge ‘unduly lenient’ when sentencing teen rapists
When three teenage boys were given community sentences for ten counts of rape against two teenage girls in two separate incidents in Hampshire, it sparked a public outcry.

The sentences were referred to the Court of Appeal by the attorney general, whose KC told the court today that detention was the "only appropriate sentence" and the judge had been "unduly lenient".
