As millions of people in the UK swelter on another day of record June temperatures - there are also thunderstorm warnings in force across north Wales, northern England and parts of the Midlands.
Another hospital in southwest England declared a critical incident - saying the extreme heat and humidity was affecting their ability to deliver services.
Forecasters said top temperatures could soar as high as forty degrees this afternoon.
