Is there a coup attempt against Starmer?
Prime Minister Keir Starmer was asked if he believes there is a "coup attempt" against him as Andy Burnham prepares for the Makerfield by-election.
Starmer told Channel 4 News Political Editor Gary Gibbon that Labour should instead focus on the Manchester mayoralty race rather than concern itself about leadership challenges.
The prime minister defended his record and said he would stay on to fight if there is a formal challenge to his leadership.
