Wave of US strikes target Iran

The United States has launched a wave of airstrikes on southern Iran for the second day running, while Jordan says its air defence managed to intercept 20 missiles fired from Iran this morning.

Bahrain said an 11-year-old girl was hurt by falling debris when its air defence shot down Iranian drones in the capital Manama and Hamad Town.
Iran said the continued US strikes had "rendered the ceasefire practically meaningless".
