
Black bear captured near Tokyo after residents told to stay home
Residents of Utsunomiya can breathe a sigh of relief as a wild black bear on the loose in the Japanese city has been captured.

Since the first sighting of the bear 60 miles north of Tokyo at the weekend, locals were told to stay at home, and all 94 schools in the area were shut.
Bear attacks have increased in Japan in both urban and rural areas, with 238 injuries and 13 deaths reported last year.
