Lammy hits back at US 'two-tier' policing claims
The deputy prime minister David Lammy has rejected claims by the Trump administration that the murder of student Henry Nowak showed there was "two-tier policing" in the UK.
Mr Lammy said he didn't recognise that kind of "caricature" of Britain's policing system.
The Liberal Democrats said the US ambassador should be summoned over the comments - calling it "flagrant foreign interference that seeks to fan the flames of division".
