Mat’s got his hands on the all-new Lotus Eletre X!
It’s a hybrid version of Lotus’s high-performance SUV, and he’s going up against one of the most popular performance SUVs around - the Ferrari Purosangue!
However, that’s not all. Whoever loses the initial race will then face a ‘proper’ performance car: a Lamborghini Huracan Performante!
So let’s take a closer look at the stats…
The Ferrari is powered by a 6.5-litre naturally aspirated V12 that pumps out 725hp and 716Nm. Power is sent to all four wheels via an 8-speed auto gearbox, and it weighs in at 2,133kg. It’s easily the most expensive car here, with the starting price coming in at £364,000.
As for the Lotus, it’s equipped with a 2-litre turbocharged petrol engine and two electric motors. These combine to produce 952hp and 935Nm, with this power sent to all four wheels. It costs around £103,000, but it’s super heavy, tipping the scales at 2,615kg!
Finally, we come to the Lambo. It’s powered by a 5.2-litre naturally aspirated V10 that delivers 640hp and 600Nm. It sends that power to all four wheels via a dual-clutch automatic gearbox, and it weighs in at just 1480kg. As of today, it’s worth around £215,000.
