This week, Americans head to the polls in what could be one of the most consequential elections in modern American history.

From Washington DC to Mississippi, South Carolina, New York, Tennessee and Colorado, Four Corners reporter Mark Willacy investigates whether the greatest threat to the elections comes from within the Trump administration itself.

Donald Trump may not be on the ballot, but the election is a referendum on his presidency. With his approval rating at a record low, Trump is rallying his MAGA base, warning of electoral fraud and impeachment if the Democrats take control of Congress. Former Trump insiders are sounding the alarm over efforts to undermine confidence in the vote, including the prospect of ICE agents being deployed at polling places. Their warning: a desperate president could go to extraordinary lengths to cling to power.
