This video examines the stories of Dr. Eduard Bloch, the Jewish physician who treated Hitler’s mother, Emil Maurice, Hitler’s chauffeur and early SS member with Jewish ancestry, and Ernst Hess, Hitler’s former World War I commander. Their cases show how personal loyalty, military service, and political usefulness could temporarily override the racial laws the Nazi regime claimed were absolute.
