Supermarkets in UK 'at risk' after freezers hit by suspected cyber attack across Europe
The intelligence and security agency GCHQ has been alerting companies in the UK that could be at risk after supermarket fridges and freezers across Europe were hit by suspected cyber attacks for a second time yesterday.
Supermarkets in Sweden saw temperatures in refrigeration systems raised to 50 degrees Celsius.
The National Cyber Security Centre, which is part of GCHQ, said that the whole food supply chain could be vulnerable and that work had gone on throughout the night to protect vulnerable companies.
