King Charles is on a nine-day tour of the Caribbean, amid renewed calls for Britain to apologise and pay reparations for its role in the transatlantic slave trade.

The UK government has previously said it won’t pay reparations, while Buckingham Palace has said the King will not issue a formal apology.
But pressure is mounting on the King to change Britain's position, and he has since confirmed the legacy of slavery will be discussed by Commonwealth leaders at the biennial summit of 56 nations next week.
