Australian mushroom poisoner Erin Patterson has failed to overturn her convictions for killing three members of her extended family and hospitalising a fourth.

In a further blow to her action, the three-judge appeal panel agreed with prosecutors that her original sentence was too lenient, and re-sentenced her to life in prison without the possibility of parole.
Patterson served death cap mushrooms in a beef Wellington in a home-cooked lunch in July 2023.
She could still attempt a final appeal through Australia's High Court.
