She called the welfare bill "unfair" on those working hard to make ends meet, adding that 1 million people in the UK now wake up "with nothing to do and nowhere to go".
Today's budget was the first for Prime Minister Andy Burnham. Chancellor John Healey described it as the budget "for the working people".
