A Russian drone struck a train at Yahodyn station near the Ukraine-Poland border on September 13, shortly after a diplomatic train carrying former British Prime Minister Boris Johnson, former Swedish Prime Minister Carl Bildt and other European officials had departed. Ukraine’s national railway operator said the diplomatic train may have been the intended target. The officials were returning from a security conference in Kyiv. Another train carrying former CIA Director David Petraeus was at the station during the strike, but there were no immediate reports of casualties.
