
Jeanine Pirro busts 'international auto theft ring' in DC #shorts
DC US Attorney Jeanine Pirro announced charges Wednesday against members of an "international auto theft ring" that boosted luxury and compact cars from the nation's capital before shipping them to Africa to be sold on the black market. Jacob Hernandez, David Coby, Dustin Wetzel, Chance Clark and James Young were all indicted on 15 counts including conspiracy to possess, sell or transport a stolen vehicle; possession, receipt, or storage of a stolen vehicle; interstate transportation of stolen vehicles; and first-degree theft. More than 20 cars with an estimated street value of nearly $1 million were taken, per the indictment.
