Hochul Announces 16 Arrests in Statewide Auto Insurance Fraud Crackdown

Sixteen people were arrested for allegedly staging car crashes and filing fraudulent insurance claims totaling nearly $500,000, with cases spanning the Bronx, Brooklyn, Queens, Staten Island and several upstate counties.
