Pete Hegseth revealed Thursday that Fort Hood mass shooter Nidal Hasan will be executed by firing squad in public at the base where he killed 13 people in 2009. “We’re gonna make sure that people are able to watch it, that it’s public, because people need to understand that there’s serious consequences for these types of things,” Hegseth said when asked by Real America’s Voice about the fate of the former Army major, who has been on military death row since 2013.
