Judges Overturned Alex Murdaugh's Murder Convictions — What Happens Next?
Alex Murdaugh — the disgraced legal scion who was found guilty in 2023 of brutally killing his wife and son — had his murder convictions overturned on May 13 by the South Carolina Supreme Court.
The shocking twist came after the court claimed that Colleton County court clerk Rebecca Hill, once viewed as sweet, homespun “Miss Becky” had quote: “placed her fingers on the scales of justice.”
