Craftsman Goes All Out Building His Dream Country Cabin
This incredible country cabin is what happens when a talented craftsman goes all out building his own dream retreat. Created by Shaun and Tegan, the cabin is packed with beautiful timber, natural materials and incredible handcrafted details.
Around 40 logs that were destined to be burned were rescued and milled by Shaun himself, with the timber now featuring throughout the cabin in exposed framing, oversized beams, live-edge cabinetry and furniture.
Set amongst lush countryside and rainforest, the cabin feels completely at home in its surroundings. Amazingly, despite its substantial design, it’s also relocatable and can be separated into multiple sections for transport.
This is an exceptional example of cabin design, timber craftsmanship and what can happen when a builder finally gets the chance to create something entirely for himself.
