The French Navy released dramatic footage showing troops boarding a Russia-linked oil tanker in the Atlantic Ocean as part of an international sanctions enforcement operation. French President Emmanuel Macron said the vessel was suspected of helping circumvent sanctions imposed over Russia’s war in Ukraine, and was intercepted more than 400 nautical miles west of Brittany with support from international partners, including the United Kingdom.
