The biggest shark ever recorded in the Atlantic Ocean may be on its way back to a summer hot spot. Contender, the great white shark that measures about 14 feet long and weighs nearly 1,700 pounds, was last spotted in April off the coast of North Carolina but its tracking device suggests it’s likely headed to Cape Cod, Massachusetts.
