1993: Sam Neill Calls 'Jurassic Park' 'One of the Biggest of All Time'

Sam Neill joined Katie Couric in 1993 for an interview on TODAY, calling 'Jurassic Park' "one of the greatest of all time." Neill, who played Dr. Alan Grant in the series, also joked about the professionalism of his dinosaur co-stars.
Neill's family announced July 13, 2026 that the actor had passed away at the age of 78.
