Why Nicholas Hoult DROPPED OUT of Harry Potter Series
Nicholas Hoult is being replaced as Gilderoy Lockhart for HBO's 'Harry Potter and the Chamber of Secrets,' after dropping out of the project. The network confirms to ET, Kit Harington will now take on the role for the series' second season. Kit voiced Lockhart for Audible's full-cast recording of the 'Harry Potter' book series.
