‘I Have a Dream’ Co-Author Dr. Clarence B. Jones Dies at 95
Dr. Clarence B. Jones, the famed attorney and civil rights activist who helped Martin Luther King Jr. write the “I Have a Dream” speech, has died at 95. When Dr. King was arrested during a 1963 protest, it was Jones who smuggled out King’s now famous manifesto on racism “Letter From Birmingham Jail.” Sunday TODAY’s Willie Geist remembers a life well lived.
