I got to build a Martin D-28. The D-28 has been my favorite acoustic forever, so when I pulled into Nazareth, Pennsylvania, Tim Teel walked me through exactly how one gets made at the @martinguitar factory, from raw lumber all the way to the finished guitar. They even let me get my hands dirty along the way.
My dad had a Martin in the house before I ever played guitar, and his M36 is still my most sentimental instrument. So getting to help build a D-28 was something else entirely.
