My name is Pallavi Gupta, and I hold an MBA in Finance from ICFAI Business School. I currently have over five years of experience in the finance industry and am presently working as a Credit Manager at SVC Bank, one of the oldest cooperative banks in India with a legacy of more than 120 years.
Throughout my career, I have worked with leading financial institutions such as HDFC Bank and ICICI Bank, primarily in the underwriting segment. My role involves analyzing financial statements, reviewing balance sheets and profit-and-loss reports, and preparing credit evaluation reports. Over time, this experience has given me a strong foundation in financial analysis and risk assessment within the banking sector.
While working in the banking sector, I noticed that many of my tasks involved analyzing data, preparing reports, and using different software tools to structure financial insights. At the same time, I became increasingly interested in how technology—especially AI and emerging FinTech solutions—is transforming the financial industry.
I also had the opportunity to collaborate with a startup, where I saw firsthand how technology and AI are shaping modern business processes. This experience made me realize that combining finance expertise with technology skills would open up greater opportunities in areas like product management and financial analytics. That realization motivated me to pursue a professional certification to strengthen my technology and product-oriented skills.
