A driver in Jiangsu, China, became trapped between his vehicle door and active car wash machinery on August 17 after opening the door mid-cycle to turn off his wipers. CCTV footage captured the alarming incident, which left the distressed motorist shouting for help until a group of employees and bystanders rushed to his rescue. Quick-thinking individuals worked together to push the machinery, while a passerby managed to restart the SUV so the driver could pull the handbrake and escape further danger.
