No Law is a Mix of Cyberpunk 2077, Bulletstorm, Wolfenstein and '80s Action Movies
Cyberpunk shooter No Law was one of the standout highlights from this year's Opening Night Live at gamescom 2026, thanks to its slick visuals and brutal gameplay. IGN spoke to developers Tor Frick and Arcade Berg to get details on the scope of the dense open-world, different approaches players can take to combat (kicking doors so hard they explode, or stealthily putting grenades in robot vacuums) and its wide range of influences, from games like Bulletstorm, Wolfenstein and Deus Ex to movies like Robocop and Death Wish to cyberpunk classics like Neuromancer, Judge Dredd and Blade Runner. Whether you want to shoot a dude so hard he explodes into goo or spend hours reading handcrafted labels on products in a convenience store, No Law looks like it's got plenty to keep us busy when it drops for Xbox Series, PlayStation 5 and PC sometime in 2027.
