A small shark was caught swimming through a flooded residential street in Surf City, New Jersey, after a weekend nor’easter brought severe coastal flooding to the Jersey Shore. The animal, identified by shark researcher Dr. Greg Skomal as a smooth dogfish, was filmed passing a resident’s home before heading toward Barnegat Bay.
