The NHS Trust that treated Valdo Calocane before he carried out the Nottingham attacks is being investigated by Northumbria Police over corporate manslaughter.

The Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Foundation had sectioned Calocane, who has paranoid schizophrenia, four times.
He went on to kill students Barnaby Webber and Grace O'Malley-Kumar, and caretaker Ian Coates in June 2023.
Barnaby's mother said the investigation would "send much-needed shockwaves across our public services".
