You can now render entire CG movies with local AI, on your own computer, for free. To show you how it works, I built the whole pipeline and used it to make a short film: a fake commercial for a budget motel run by a family of bears.
You rough out a scene in Blender, guide the look with a few reference images, and the AI renders the final shot with lighting and effects. You can also add lip sync and facial animation from just an audio file. Any style works: realistic, anime, claymation.
I go through the whole process step by step: generating 3D environments and characters from prompts, rigging them, exporting the depth and outline passes, building a reference frame in FLUX, the LTX-2.3 render workflow, and upscaling everything to 4K. It all runs locally on open-source models. I tested it on an NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5090. @NVIDIA-Studio
