
Kenya confirms first Ebola case after death
Kenya's health ministry has confirmed its first Ebola case after a Kenyan citizen died following their trip to the capital Nairobi after living in the Democratic Republic of Congo.

The patient was initially treated in the DRC after becoming ill four weeks ago. Family members, healthcare workers and people who travelled on the same flight are being traced.
DRC has been battling its largest-ever Ebola outbreak this year, with more than four-thousand deaths caused by the rare Bundibugyo strain of the disease.
