Coercive abuse survivor speaks out

As the early prisoner release scheme starts across England and Wales, Channel 4 News spoke to survivor Claire Milne about the lasting impact of eight years of coercive control and abuse.
Her testimony highlights the trauma that continues long after a sentence is handed down and questions whether the system is doing enough to protect victims.
The man who abused her is due to be released from prison next month.
