Crazy Rich Asians: Harry Shum Jr. on Whether He and Gemma Chan Are Joining HBO Series (Exclusive)
Harry Shum Jr. weighs in on the just-announced HBO series continuation of 'Crazy Rich Asians,' while chatting with ET's Denny Directo after Super Bowl Night on 'Dancing With the Stars' (which aired Tuesday on ABC and is now streaming on Disney+ and Hulu). Harry, who made a brief appearance in the film as Charlie Wu, future love interest of Gemma Chan's Astrid Leong in the book series, is hopeful he and Gemma will join the previously announced cast of Constance Wu, Henry Golding, Ronny Chieng and Michelle Yeoh. For now, though, he's focused on 'DWTS' and 'Grey's Anatomy,' teasing Blue's season 23 future after getting fired from the hospital at the end of season 22. 'Grey's Anatomy' airs Thursdays on ABC.
