KATSEYE's Sophia Laforteza announces she's taking a hiatus from the band to focus on her mental health. The 23-year-old singer shared a statement on Instagram, telling fans she's focused on her recovery so she can get back to doing what she loves most. Sophia notably didn't attend the band's 'Wild Hearts' documentary film on Tuesday. The band told ET at the premiere she was sick, but sent her love. Sophia's departure marks the second bandmate to take time away from the group this year, after Macon Bannerman left in February, also citing mental health struggles.
