President Trump says he is reimposing the US blockade on Iranian ports, just over three weeks after it was lifted as part of the truce.
Trump said the US would ensure the Strait of Hormuz remains open, but he plans to charge all ships a 20% fee for safe passage through the waterway.
Foad Izadi, an analyst at Tehran University who is a supporter of the government, tells Channel 4 News that ‘Iranians won’t allow Trump to take over the Strait of Hormuz’.
