G’day guys, welcome to the first episode of our brand new series, Sailing Across the Top.
We’re setting off from the top of the Gulf of Carpentaria, sailing across one of the wildest, most remote and untouched parts of Australia — before making our way into Arnhem Land and eventually up towards Indonesia.
This journey will take us through crocodile country, ancient landscapes, remote islands, wild rivers and places very few people ever get to see. Along the way we’ll be fishing, hunting in traditional ways, exploring ancient rock art, cooking what we catch, and living off the ocean as much as we can.
From prehistoric-looking creatures and giant crocs, to bow and arrow hunting, remote catch and cooks, and the rich history of some of the oldest living cultures on Earth — this is shaping up to be one of our biggest adventures yet.
