Ariana Grande Claims Break Was Planned ‘a Long Time Ago,’ Not Because of Fan Health Concerns

Ariana Grande claims her upcoming break from the spotlight was planned ‘a long time ago,’ despite recent concern over her health and wellbeing, as she appears to have lost a significant amount of weight. During the first of three shows in Chicago for her 'Eternal Sunshine' tour, Ariana told fans, the decision came from ‘a thoughtful and empowered place,’ and 'boundaries … need to be set.’ She also emphasized, the tour is ‘the greatest experience’ and outside ‘noise’ does not diminish her joy.
