Historic flooding inundated parts of Weston, West Virginia, on July 21, leaving streets, vehicles, and buildings submerged under several feet of water. At least two people were killed as severe weather swept through the region, prompting Gov. Patrick Morrisey to declare a state of emergency. Video from the scene captured rapidly rising floodwaters overwhelming the town, while officials reported the storm also disrupted emergency transportation and affected medical flight operations in several counties.
