The Prime Minister has warned tech bosses that 'things can't go on like this', demanding real-world changes to protect children online.

This comes as the government considers whether to introduce a social media ban for under-16s, similar to Australia's.
But for the bereaved parents, who watched as MPs voted down protections for children like theirs, the words ring hollow.
TikTok told us "it does not allow content promoting or sharing plans for suicide or self-harm on TikTok... and policies are enforced through advanced moderation technology and humans who escalate emergency risks to law enforcement."
