Sony has revealed a new image from the upcoming God of War Laufey, featuring Kratos. While Kratos appeared briefly in the game's extended gameplay trailer, this screenshot places Kratos and Laufey in what appears to be ancient Greece, from a time before they even met. Not much is known about the game's story and setting, aside from Laufey waking up in the Everywhen after being cremated by Kratos in the 2018 game. In entertainment news, Spider-Man: Homecoming director Jon Watts has been tapped by Disney to helm the first in a new Star Wars trilogy from writer Simon Kinberg. Watts already has experience with Star Wars, co-creating the Goonies-esque Disney+ series, Skeleton Crew. And finally, Avengers: Endgame Encore assembled an impressive $86 million global box office haul in its first re-release. That's on top of the already massive $2.88 billion the movie has already made since its first debut in 2019.
