Well, hello, and welcome to Wednesdays with Bob. Remember, even though this isn't a traditional English lesson, there are word-for-word English subtitles if you need to turn them on, and a complete English transcript in the description below. How many times do you think I've said that?
Probably a lot, but hey, there might be someone new here who doesn't know that. Well, generally, when I'm out and about, I'm in a town. Today, I am in a city. This is the city of Welland. I thought I should show you that yes, we do have two-lane roads.
Yes, we do have traffic. Yes, we do have big stores. And it looks like this one is taking donations right now. This is what you would call a thrift store. Thrift. Did I pronounce that clearly? Thrift. It's a hard word to say.
So I'm here in Welland because I just finished going to the gym. I needed to go to the bank and deposit some money for Jen's business. I do need to go and get a few groceries and other small items today. And what else did I need to do?
Oh, make two videos. I'm making this one, the Wednesdays with Bob video. And I'm also going to hopefully go down to the old canal and make my short lesson if I can find the path down there. So, this is actually where I do my outdoor walk.
After I drop my daughter off at work, but she actually doesn't work today, I usually do a big loop around this mall, so it's kind of hard to see, but it takes me about 25 minutes to do the whole loop.
I go down the sidewalk, I go down the streets on the sidewalk in front of all the fast food restaurants. And I don't go in, and then I end up in a subdivision. I think you saw a short lesson a week and a half ago that I made while I was walking in that subdivision, wearing an older T-shirt.
Today I have a new T-shirt on. But yeah, I'm this is kind of funny. I was going to show you how busy it is here, and there's only one car waiting at the stoplight right now. I'm not sure if you can see all the way in the distance. Sorry, I might have just shook the camera there, but gas is a 170.6 right now.
Man, I, you know, I'm gonna miss... Two of my kids are going back to university. I'm going to miss them, but I'm not going to miss buying gas so they can drive to their part-time jobs every day. I'm certainly, yeah, I thought the price of gas would eventually go down, but go figure.
I mean, eventually... it's something you just can't comprehend or understand. Anyways, here's one last look at the intersection. I'll probably make a thumbnail out of this. Did you know that's how I do the thumbnail?
After the video's done, I just smile at the camera and point at something. Anyways, thanks for being members. You're all awesome, and I'll see you next week with another Wednesdays with Bob video. Bye.
