Who will save Lebanon? | Foreign Correspondent
In the shadow of the US Israel Iran war, Lebanon has been thrown in to crisis. The Israeli Defense Forces launched a ground invasion following rocket attacks by Hezbollah, Iran’s Lebanon-based proxy militia in the early days of the war. In the months that followed the IDF has seized and occupied 6 percent of Lebanese territory, destroyed homes and buildings displacing tens of thousands of Lebanese.
On Foreign Correspondent reporter Stephanie March travels to the heart of the crisis in southern Lebanon to see the damage firsthand and examines the way Hezbollah has become enmeshed in Lebanese life and how the people of Lebanon are paying the price for a war they neither started nor can end.
