Nintendo Switch Sports Resort Hands-On Preview: Wuhu Island Is Back, Baby | Comic Con 2026

IGN and Nintendo Voice Chat's Logan Plant went hands-on with Nintendo Switch Sports Resort at San Diego Comic Con, and he's here with Brian Altano to share his impressions. We tried four sports: power cruising, archery, the new thumb wrestling, and the iconic 100-pin bowling, and found that each had us holding the Joy-Con 2 controllers in a different way. Plus, we talk about how it felt returning to Wuhu Island from the 2009 original. Nintendo Switch Sports launches on Nintendo Switch 2 on October 22.
