Remembering Andy Rooney | 60 Minutes Archive
For decades, Andy Rooney captivated audiences with his prickly wit and commentary at the end of the 60 Minutes broadcast. Upon his retirement in 2011, Morley Safer asked him if he ever thought he would become an icon on 60 Minutes. "I don't know whether you're right or not," Rooney answered. "But I like hearing you say it." Today marks 15 years since Rooney's death at the age of 92.
