0-3-5 gets joked about, but it’s one of the best starting points on guitar. It builds timing, finger control, and helps beginners understand how riffs actually work. Tons of famous songs grow out of this exact idea. Start slow with one finger, speed it up, add another finger, then expand it into a full riff. This is how simple patterns turn into real music and why every beginner should spend time with 0-3-5.
