This is the ultimate American grudge match: Chevrolet Corvette ZR1 vs Ford Mustang GTD. One is a 1064bhp mid-engined supercar, the other is a sports car shot through with racing know-how and then turned up to 11. They go about achieving their performance in quite different ways, and yet will both lap the Nürburgring within a few seconds of the other (and for bragging rights, both dip under the magic seven-minute mark).
