Songkran, the Thai New Year, is easily the country's most exhilarating festival. With the 2026 celebration nearing, I want to share our experience from last year in beautiful Chiang Mai. In addition to the water fights and festivities, we will explore Songkran traditions such as the Song Nam Phra purification ritual and the craft of making Lanna flags. Join us in one of the best times to visit Thailand.
