Best of Both Worlds or Just a Mess? My Analog/Digital Hybrid Studio
How do you combine acoustic instruments, ancient synths, pedals, tape, resonators and actual lab equipment, with a DAW based workflow? I have been figuring this out after a long time of keeping the two mostly separate. This was not something I planned but it became a necessity due to working with clients in my home studio, and trying to integrate all the experiments I discovered in my musical journey. This became very apparent when FFOSSO, the sponsor of this video, came in for a recording session. In this video I am sharing my hybrid analog/digital workflow. Maybe this will give you ideas for your studio, too.
