Amber weather warnings have been issued for the UK, with Storm Goretti expected to bring heavy snowfall to the Midlands and galeforce winds to Cornwall.
Scotland, parts of which have already been blanketed by snow, still has a yellow snow warning and rain warnings are in place for southwest Wales and eastern England.
